UpcomingHighly Productive Cropland In Northwest Kansas - 320 Acres
320 Acres / Cheyenne County, KSLive Bid at Auction Network
Auction Location:American Legion, 113 W. 4th Street, Bird City, KS 67731
Coming to auction, a level and productive tract of mostly cropland located in the northwest corner of Kansas in the scenic area near Big Timber Creek. This land sits atop a flat plateau overlooking the creek valley and canyons below. Highlighted by over 290 acres of level, fertile cropland which has been well cared for and maintained to maximize crop production. The farmland on this parcel consists of over 99% Class II & III silt loam soils. Wheat was planted on nearly 184 acres of the cropland and corn was planted on the remaining 106 acres during the 2019 season. An area in the northwest corner of the property (along AA Road) has been planted with cedar windbreaks and grass providing an excellent habitat for upland birds, mule deer, and whitetails. This small area would also be a nice spot for building a country home with a great view and good access to HWY 161 only 1 mile to the west. If you are searching for a top-producing tract of farmland to add to your current farming operation or investment portfolio, this is a tough option to beat.
